Amáli designer Sara Freedenfeld discovered her passion for jewelry while backpacking across South America. In Chile, Sara learned to combine natural elements with knotted strings, creating intricate wearable art. Using 18k gold and a wide array of gemstones, those macramé techniques still inspire Amali today; everyday fine jewelry rooted in handcrafted artistry. The company is named after Sara's Grandmother, Amalia, a strong and spirited woman who embodies the spirit of the jewelry. Sara and her husband Daniel run the company together, with a small dedicated team and the loving enthusiasm of their young daughter.
