DISA ALLSOPP

2024 bio, Disa Allsopp was born in London but grew up in Barbados.i set up my studio in London where i design and make precious jewellery. Working in 18k gold ,precious and semi-precious gemstones, tourmalines, garnets, aquamarines, emeralds, citrines, white and coloured diamonds are just a few of the stones that are incorporated in the jewellery. designing rings can be very challenging as you are confined by the space on the finger but iI enjoy making rings, earrings ,necklaces and bangles. colour is important and that is where coloured gemstones shine! I often use large stones or multiples of stones to create each piece. All of the pieces are made by hand in the studio using different techniques and finishes. inspiration comes from observing nature and ancient jewellery.a
