MARATHI PARIS
Marathi Paris is soul jewelry with style; ethical, precious and circular. The Maison reinvents the traditional and universal meditation necklace, such as the Komboloi in Greece, or the Mala in India, to turn it into a precious jewelry object charged with meaning and style. Cradles of Eastern and Western spirituality, Greek and Indian civilizations have inspired the Maison's creations, bringing them into joyful dialogue in a contemporary design. Precious talismans complete the collection to accompany you on the path of your soul, in style. Founder Cécile Aviérinos was born in Marseille, in the south of France. Of Greek origin, she remains deeply attached to her Mediterranean roots. Since childhood, she has traveled between Greece and France, her many trips back and forth from one sea to the other are a source of nourishment. In Athens, her grandmother, a great jewelry collector, never ceased to pass on her passion for Greek jewelry. Choosing to work for one of the oldest jewelry houses on the Place Vendôme in Paris within LVMH group, she confirmed and strengthened her taste for jewelry and its world of creation and virtuosity. Over the years, yoga and meditation have imposed themselves on her, a serene interlude in her urban life. The desire to blend the richness of Hellenic culture with the mystique of the Indian world was an obvious choice. This is how her precious, meaningful jewelry came into being, offering support for our own spiritual quest. Of recycled gold or silver, each creation is meticulously crafted by hand, in the constant quest for that refined excellence that characterizes Parisian jewelry. The Marathi partner jewelry workshops, located in India and Italy, are RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council) certified, committed to an ethical and responsible approach, from the manufacture of jewelry to the sourcing of stones and metals.
