SHINKAI
Born and raised in Tokyo, designer Mizuki SHINKAI trained at professional metal craft school and worked for various jewelry companies before launching his own brand in 2013. He creates the pieces with delicate textures using sophisticated metalworking techniques and innovative concepts that resonate with the wearer. His favorite material is the pearls, "the living gem". He brings out the individuality in each baroque pearl and transforms it into jewelry that feels "as it should be". You will find in all his pieces a sense of dignity and strength, and at the same time,and their soft and "wet" feel is so comfortable and personal that it is hard to believe that they are made of hard metal.
