RONA FISHER JEWELRY DESIGN
My work is inspired by water-especially the flow of water over stones-as well as forms and textures found in the ancient world. Each piece is characterized by using asymmetry to create balance and a feeling of spontaneity. Bringing these ideas together, an organic sensibility is fused with a celebration of the handmade creating a sense of intimacy with the maker. In creating these pieces, I'm focusing on the feeling I get when in nature-particularly near a stream; the smell and sounds of fresh rushing water bouncing off of ancient rock formations is relaxing and energizing.
